October 3, 200421 yr Hi,I just did a flight with a PSS A340 to Lhasa in Tibet, whose airport is at 11,620 ft. DUring cruise, the cabin pressure already adjusted itself to that altitude, which is way beyond the gree zone of cabin pressure on the PSS panel, so I always get a flashy light on my panel. Anyone knows how I can manually keep the cabin pressure within the limits? Chris(I know that the pressure at 11,620 ft must be bearable, after all this is what pax will face when they step off the plane, but I don't want them to faint because I climb to that altitude within the matter of 20 mins).
October 3, 200421 yr Author Sorry, just to add a little detail to my previous question: it is not the pressure as such which flashes in red, it is the cabin altitude.
