May 9, 201313 yr I've installed FTX AU Blue Temperate South as well as their Melbourne airport scenery. The installation was fast and successful. However, the sceneries have not been added to the scenery library in FSX. The sceneries appear to be okay, but do I still have to add the sceneries manually?
May 10, 201313 yr Clicking the Au button in the FTX Central control panel should active the scenery. No, you won't see it (or any Orbx scenery I think) in the scenery library until it is activated. Do not add the sceneries manually. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
May 10, 201313 yr Author The sceneries were already activated. I didn't see them in the scenery library, though. Due to some difficulties with their freeware Launceston scenery, I have deactivated the sceneries again. But by doing that, I only got into more trouble. Now I cannot activate them again because I get an error message when trying to activate the sceneries within FTX Central saying that there's an 'unhandled exception' and that a part of C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\BLDG2.dds couldn't be found.
May 10, 201313 yr Oh boy, you've reached the end of my poor brain power. Hopefully someone else who knows more will soon show up. Have you tried the Orbx registered forums?? Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
May 10, 201313 yr Author Thanks a lot anyway! I haven't tried the Orbx forums yet because I don't want to sign up on 1000 forums
May 10, 201313 yr I think they're added under ORBX in the flightsim main folder but should still be shown in the Addon scenery folder as active.
May 10, 201313 yr Author I've reinstalled them now and they are working even though they're not in the scenery library. However, I still encounter problems, I've opened another thread about that.
May 11, 201313 yr I think they're added under ORBX in the flightsim main folder but should still be shown in the Addon scenery folder as active. Yeah, I do believe that's correct Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
