Thought this was an interesting way of tracking to an airport!

 

I just did a quick flight in the J41, setup a flight between Canberra direct to Tamworth at FL160. I use Active Sky Evolution. Once I departed, I engaged the autopilot to intercept the track and off I went (using LNAV on the EHSI and NAV on the autopilot).

 

During the cruise, I was doing some other things on the computer, and came back to notice the DME and VOR indicating I was well to the west of the desired track. Opened the map which confirmed the weird deviation. The wind was 060/15.

 

Anyone seen this before? Not overly fussed, just though some might get a laugh at this.
