Help with Activation Issue

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I've been using the NGX for several months and recently have been having trouble with my PC so have used a registry cleaning tool and various other things (CCleaner etc.)

Since I did that, when I try and select the NGX in FSX I get a dialog box prompting me for my activation code. I have tried entering the "License" serial number (the one beginning "NGX") as well as the "Order Code" from my order history in my PMDG account but it doesn't seem to like that, so I'm guessing neither of these are the activation code? I can't find any reference in my order history to an activation code, but I remember this box coming up way back when I first installed it.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

This is the error I get after I try inputting the code(s)

I'm guessing I've inadvertently deleted something from the registry that tells the NGX that I am a paying customer! Oopsie.

Thanks

Martin

<p>Hello Martin,</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Your product code has to be of this length NGX*-****-****-****-****-**** (the scores are floating).</p>

<p>You can find this code in a mail you received after purchasing (download), or in the box.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>If that does not work, completely delete it. Also the PMDG file in the root FSX directory.</p>

<p>Then reinstall and fly.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Happy landings!</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Regards,</p>

Thanks Yori, that was the code I put in but it doesn't like it! Guess I will try reinstalling and being more careful in the future!

Thanks
