It was a day for the history books as the Boeing 777 program celebrated the completion of its 1,000th airplane. At a celebration in Everett, Wash. VIPs from Dubai-based airline customer Emirates got a chance to thank the Boeing team for a job well done. Emirates will soon take delivery of the 1,000th 777 with a tail number that says it all.
