Trouble Installing Scenery

Featured Replies

Having a hard time adding a piece of scenery to FSX.

I don't think this is specific to the scenery. After installing the scenery, I see its folder in the Addon Scenery directory. So far, so good.

From within FSX's Scenery Library GUI, I click on Add Area, navigate to the addon airport's folder and when I click "OK", it opens the folder, instead of adding the area.

Has anyone ever seen this? Any idea what might be causing it?

If this is with Vista/Win 7/Win 8 you need to watch a You Tube video about adding scenery under those OS. There is an extra step to click on the blank space  in the browser window. Sorry, I don't have a link.

This is an O/S issue, so this works with FS9 as well.
