in PMDG 747-8

In the PMDG 747-8 the FO side panels are on with external power but the Captain side including the EFIS panel is also black.  How do I go about fixing this.  I opened up the PMDG config and made sure 747-8 was checked.  When external power is on in the 747-400 all panels are up and running but not in the 747-8
