Eeek! I need help..

Recommended Posts

I've just re-installed FSX in windows 8 and I'm having the following problem. I have 2 monitors and when I run them full screen the main monitor is stretched half way across the 2nd, or sometimes it is squished into the top right quadrant. It don't work like it did in 7! I can run windowed but the mere fact that it dosen't work is giving me major stress ;-)  I know my Nvidia control panel is set right and my choices in FSX are correct. Anyone had any experience of this? (i've tried compatability mode and running as admin btw)

I don't have Windows 8, but I heard there was something in Windows 8 that would make the app that is on top cover 2/3 of the screen, might that be what you're seeing?

Same here. I gave up trying to run full screen. TBH, I prefer windowed anyway..I hide the taskbar too.

I know that it's no help in trying to fix the problem, but at least you know you are not alone with it !
