Hi guys quick question the date in my MD11 FMC saying 2008 is that normal or do I need to up date it ?

If it's the AIRAC date in your FMC (I'm guessing it is) an updated one can be purchased here:

It's cheaper to buy in bulk, meaning multiple updates which release every 28 days.  The most current AIRAC cycle is 1306 effective 30 May 13.

Thanks it did help am all up to date now !!!

Until the next one is issued the first of next month, however the month-to-month modifications are usually minor.  If you are a casual flyer, you could probably update every 3 months and not notice many changes.
