  1. I have a 3080Ti, no issues at all with this new driver
  2. I’m hoping someone comes out with a payware version of Naha airport (ROAH) with the new runway that opened up about 2 years ago. I had the Technobrain Naha version for FSX which was pretty nice
  3. I wasn’t quite as lucky as you Dylan as I had to wait in line for about 11 hours. Of course Indianapolis is a little more populated than the frozen tundra of Victoria😀 My first choice was the 3090, but those were snapped up quickly. I was about the 60th person in line arriving at 830pm (tickets handed out at 730am) but I did get my second choice in the 3080ti founders edition. At the August Best Buy drop, this south side Indianapolis location had some 3090’s and 3060’s left unclaimed and a few lucky people just walked in after they opened up and bought them. It seemed as though the majority of people in line were there to buy and resell from everyone I spoke to. I overheard a couple people who were buying cards for mining. I think I was the only person there (at least it sure seemed that way) buying a card to build a computer. I haven’t flown in nearly 6 years and I’ve been itching to get back to the skies again since the new sim was released. In 2019 we had planned to move in 2021 to get closer to work. So we sold the house, moved away from the sticks where an unlimited cellphone plan with hotspot was our only means of internet and now have a blazing fast 500Mbps fiber connection. I really didn’t want to camp out all night, but there was no way I was going to pay scalper double n triple prices for a video card. I read up on what the best approach would be, discovering the BB drops at the end of each month at select stores, so I took the plunge. Yup, I was a happy camper…Let the build begin😎
  4. Smashing shots Steve! Didn’t know you cared about us Air Force folk🤣 I’m glad Drabek Industries continues to churn out beauties!!
  5. C'mon Steve, everyone knows that backwards firing missile was developed by the US Navy (I think it was even while you were serving!) The French just stole it😂 I was hoping the Eurofighter would hold up to one of those wonderful Drabek Industries' paint jobs, but that would probably just stress and crack the aircraft's skin even further, making it unflyable. We must have this thing in the air as there's bandits to shoot down...all flying on this jet's six o'clock😂😆
  6. Maybe these guys will jump on board... https://www.thresholdx.net/news/lvlup1
  7. Appreciate the info Todd. Maybe something will get done down the line whether by Asobo, payware or freeware? At least Miyako airport got an upgrade which has a nice long runway just shy of 10,000ft
  8. Does the update have the new runway in place in Naha? It should be 18R/36L which opened up in April
  9. nexusmods.com has a freeware version of Meigs Field on there if you search for it. As for Kai Tak, we’ll have to play the waiting game
  10. Smashing shot Steve-O! Hope you’re hauling a little cargo in that bird😎
  11. Hi speed sailor!!! We had the phosphorus green monitors and dot matrix printers on the railroad up until about 8-9 years ago. Printer 1...cleared hot🤣
  12. Bravo Zulu Steve-o!! Whoops, ANOTHER Navy acronym 😎
  13. 😆 That and can you hear the ATC coming from the left window sim...AMAZING 🤫
  14. I was actually thinking FS98 Steve...you had me fooled😜 Smashing shots!!
  15. Well both actually. Thought this side by side comparison approach to San Francisco in the Airbus was way cool😎 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BgSjTE71Y2g
  16. I just saw this posted over at Reddit similar to what you had asked and here’s their answer from MSFS support: >Hi, Thank you for contacting Microsoft Flight Simulator support today. We are planning to have discreet World Updates that focus on a specific region of Earth. The current plan is to do this every 2-3 months. In order to really celebrate that particular part of the planet we are updating, we are also planning on creating some new hand-crafted airports, some new POIs and we will also attempt to provide some more activities … like landing challenges. We are very excited about this as it will – over time - spotlight all regions of Earth, which we hope will bring focus to areas that might not be a current aviation hub.
  17. I’m right there with ya Steve-O! I sense the Drabek Industries paint lab firing up soon. Who knows, we may see a big green machine Titan 777F or an Atlas Air jumbo freighter fly in there somewhere down the road😎
  18. I’d love to have Kai Tak as an add on. Who cares if it’s been defunct for decades
  19. Sounds like you made a good call!! Speaking of updates.... https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/581339-august-20th-2020-development-update/
  20. I thought you’d be first in line to purchase Hook😆 I guess I’ll be getting in at a good time then as in about a year, I’ll finally have good enough high speed internet to fly this beauty. Meanwhile I’m trying to keep up with all the info out there for when I actually pull the trigger. Will Microsoft’s flightsimulator.com website post info when they push out updates since they would most likely be automatic ? Not sure if they’re still doing the every Thursday information update thing or if that was just pre release? It will interesting to see how quickly Asobo makes updates to the sim as I’m sure they have a helluva list going. I have 5k already set aside ( and the wife doesn’t know about it🤫)
  21. Since I’m a year away from coming onboard, I’d love to see a flight around Okinawa Japan (ROAH). Mainly just the southern end of the island after taking off from Naha would be great plus I’d like to see if MSFS has the new runway included which opened up in April. Thanks in advance!
  22. This should work... On the main home screen select options at the top, the select general, accessibility, then the show tool tips tab to show it or remove it
