Question about QW BAE-146/Avro RJ Speed Please
Aharon replied to Aharon's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Really?? This is required for Quality Wings BAE/Avro jets??? How come I had no problems with the plane's touchdown and speeding down to zero in many flights except one flight per each 8 successful flights?? Regards, Aharon -

Question about QW BAE-146/Avro RJ Speed Please
Aharon replied to Aharon's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Satiek X-52 Never happened to me before for all other freeware and payware model bases The engines are at runway approach speed (130 kt). I was too busy concentrating on trying to stop the plane on runway to notice N1 reading. I was focusing on reading the speedometer that remained at 130 kt even the throttles were shut off and the autospeed button indicated off. I even turned off autopilot in hope to get engines kill the speed. That trick failed to work. Strange that it happened during only one flight in every eight successful flights. Weird. FSX-MS Question about QW BAE-146/Avro RJ Speed Please

I have no problem flying Quality Wings BAe 146s & AVROs in many flights using FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 but I have one unusual problem as seen below. In one flight per 8 successful flights, after touching down on runway, the engines refused to reduce speed to zero even I used throttles to cut down speed to zero yet the plane kept going on at 120kt crashing through end of runway. I checked to be sure the autospeed is off and I even turned off autopilot in hope to make the engines cut down the speed to zero but no luck. Any solution for that, please??? Regards, Aharon -
Finnair Having Exciting Debut With Brand New Caravelle

@John F and @Jack_Sawyer, Thanks for your kind words. Regards, Aharon -
Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting faithfully accurate historic recreation of one of very first fights flown by Finnair airline's brand new first Caravelle which was from EFHK Helsinki-Vantaa Airport located in the neighbouring city of Vantaa 10.6 miles north of center of Helsinki to ESSA Stockholm Arlanda Airport located near the town of Märsta 23 miles north of Stockholm. Originally I thought the flight mentioned above was also first commercial flight flown by Finnair's first Caravelle which was the reason I recreated the flight and made screenshots out of it but after discussion with Finnish Aviation museum, the museum officials told me that the actual first flight flown by Finnair's first Caravelle was on 1 Apr 60 from Helsinki to Copenhagen but they assured me that the route from EFHK to ESSA was one of first routes offered by Finnair's first Caravelle. Presenting exciting recreation of one of the first flights by Finnair's first Caravelle Finishing pushback from gate 28 Nice wing view of the airport Turning on headlights Check out brand new tires!! Another wing view of the airport You can see the new headlight! Starting engines which result into white smoke as result of freezing winter weather Making long taxi to short of runway 04R Still taxiing while following well lighted taxiway strobe markings Notice the registration number of Finnair's first Caravelle What do you expect from Finnish winter full of high snows? Arriving at short of runway 04R holding position awaiting for take off clearance from EFHK airport tower controllers Still holding yeah EFHK is busy airport!! Check out DHL trucks in background Take off clearance is granted and time to enter into runway for take off!! Roaring down the runway spewing snow dust during take off run Airbore on climb to FL240 retracting its landing gear Still climbing with background view of highway route number 45 Making left 180 degree turn toward west Still in middle of the left turn while the plane's right wing is being engulfed by clouds Because of regulations of the forums not allowing more than 20 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to this hyperlink to view the rest of exciting flight. Interesting Airline Rescue Operation By Tristar
Aharon replied to Aharon's topic in The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
@John F and @Jack_Sawyer,, Thanks for your kind words. My apologies for very late reply Regards, Aharon -
Shalom and greetings all my pals, Allow me to present you an interesting aviation history on how Eastern airline's plane came to rescue for the island of Jersey near England. The island was hit twice by extremely bad fog that forced the EGJJ Jersey airport to shut down twice which resulted into thousands of Heathrow bound passengers stranding in the airport or on the island and same numbers of Jersey bound passengers stranded in Heathrow. British Airways decided to come rescue to solve the massive backlog of stranded passengers by selecting two Lockheed L1011s to clear out backlog. Two out of many L1011s in the British Airways fleet got the assignments. The British Airways registration numbers are N323EA and G-BBAF meaning that if you notice the first registration number, you would realize it is Eastern Airlines plane on lease to British Airways!!! Presenting rescue mission flight from EGLL Heathrow Airport located 14 miles west of center of London to EGJJ Jersey Airport located 4.6 miles west northwest of Saint Helier in island of Jersey which is part of Channel Islands. 100 stranded Jersey island bound passengers boarding the plane at Heathrow. British Airways was not allowed to load more than 100 passengers into their L1011 with 300 passenger capacity due to strict weight restrictions concerning landings on EGJJ Jersey airport Jetway disconnecting from the plane Finished with pushback Check out view of Rolls Royce engine!!! If you cannot afford to buy Rolls Royce car, least you can own Rolls Royce engines in your flight sim! Check out Eastern Airlines registration number!! You can see engine smoke spewing from engine as result of starting engines Starting to taxi to short of runway 27R Still taxiing with background view of giant fuel tanks Still taxiing yep Heathrow airport is massive big and taxiing can be long time! More taxiing Finally arriving short of runway 27R asking Heathrow airport tower for take off clearance Look at the British Airways maintenance hangars in background Yes what do you expect from busy Heathrow airport?? You gonna have to wait for while to get take off clearance! Still waiting short of runway 27R Finally time to take off as the plane entering into runway 27R to start take off roll! Airborne on climb to FL190 retracting the landing gear On climb past famous Thames River seen on right side of the plane and past Maidenhead Road also know as route number A308 seen on left side of left wing where you can see two buildings under the wing's red beacon which are Centrica building and British Gas building. Passing through clouds during climb to FL190 Making left turn toward east on way to the island Passing EGLF Farnborough Airport located in Farnborough, Hampshire, England which is the site of very famous annual air shows Because of regulations of the forums not allowing more than 20 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to this hyperlink as seen below to continue viewing exciting rescue operation.
