Shalom Charlie, SOH is not down. SOH decided to shut down the library download center for few hours to introduce new stricter rules regarding downloading because some newbies abuses library center downloading too many downloads at once especially one new person was downloading 3,000 files AT SAME TIME!!! SOH suspects somebody is trying to steal download files to create his or her library center for public use so SOH decides to protect copyrights of repainters and developers of sceneries and planes by introducing much stricter download rules. It is not malfunction. It is caused by abuse of newbies who have no respect for generosity of repainters and developers offering freeware addons and liveries. Now SOH library is re-opened and available for dowmloading with new rules Regards, Aharon

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting charter cargo hauling flight from PANC to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage to PAUN Unalakleet Airport located one nautical mile north of the central business district of Unalakleet in the Nome Census Area Cruising at FL300 after take off from PANC with nice background view of full moon Cruising above pretty Alaskan snow landscape On descent from FL300 to 3,000 ft on way to PAUN runway Having fun flying through clouds during descent Emerging from clouds More clouds to pass through At 3,000 ft above snowy landscape On final runway approach to runway 32 Look at frozen waters of Norton Sound On perfect final approach!! Dig the airport scene where you can find famous Jim Tweto's red plane parked there Seconds before touchdown TOUCHDOWN Braking down on very slippery ice runway Stopped with plenty of runway distance left Backtracking on icy runway with hope that my plane would NOT slide out of runway into ground!! Taxiing toward the terminal Crossing intersection of two runways Exiting from runway into passenger and cargo apron Arriving at cargo apron with background view of famous green Era building where you can see the pickup truck next to the green building which is the same truck that a rookie Era airline pilot would later accidentally wrecks the driver's door not realizing the winds would be too strong enough to wreck it when opening it!! Yikes look at icy cargo apron ground Thank you for viewing and stay tuned for next exciting flight. Regards, Aharon

Bizarre Livery For Wrong Geographical Location
Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting nice flight from PANC to PAMC which calls for SPECIFIC use of Northern Air Cargo Boeing 737-300F to carry Musher drop bags, straw bales, and HEET fuel at grand cargo weight total of 42,000 lbs for the use of coming annual famous dog sled race Before all of you start screaming that it is wrong livery, believe it or not Northern Air Cargo actually used this livery to fly many flights within ALASKA!! Passing through clouds on climb to FL180 after take off from PANC Still climbing showing bizarre view of combo of Hawaiian livery and very snowy Alaskan landscape Cruising t FL180 just above high Alaskan mountains Descending through clouds on way to PAMC runway 16 On final runway approach to runway 16 It is NOT uncommon for any Alaskan based airline to make runway approach JUST INCHES above the top of trees for sole purpose of making touchdown on piano bars or at beginning of short runway. NO KIDDING Seconds before touchdown TOUCHDOWN specifically on piano bars Braking down on icy runway spewing snow blowing Arrived at cargo apron to unload supplies for the dog sled race Thank you for viewing my flight report. Stay tuned for next exciting flight. Regards, Aharon

Emergency Fuel Supply Mission
Shalom and greetings all my pals, As all of you know that huge numbers of bush planes, helicopters, and twin propeller planes used PABE Bethel airport to run round trip relief aid flights between the airport and many many tiny or villages with tiny airports to drop off much needed supplies, to pick up wounded citizens affected by the natural disaster called Typhoon Halong, and to evacuate any survivors. That got me thinking. The PABE Bethel airport has good runway distance enough for big jets to fly supplies from PANC or PAFA to PABE and pick up survivors to fly back WITHOUT REFUELING to the two mentioned big cities. BUT BUT BUT the problem is that PABE Bethel airport has extremely limited aviation fuel reserves. The airport gets fresh supply of aviation fuel twice a year BY BOAT always on fall and spring to avoid frozen ice on rivers. The twice a year fuel supply is sufficient for normal flights out of PABE. HOWEVER, because of the Typhoon Halong disaster, there was massive massive stream of bush planes, tri-propeller planes, and helicopters doing relief aid and rescue flights which posed an important question: how to satisfy FUEL HUNGER of sheer volume of bush planes, tri-propeller planes, and helicopters. PABE airport's normal fuel reserves are NOT designed to handle incredible number of flights. HENCE my theory on how PABE airport solved the problem. Bear in mind it is my theory. Presenting emergency fuel supply flight from PAEI Eielson Air Force Base located approximately 26 miles southeast of Fairbanks to PABE Bethel Bethel Airport located three nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Bethel KC-10 heavily loaded with aviation fuel ready for emergency fuel flight Taxiing to runway Airborne on climb to FL360 heading westward Still climbing with nice background view of full moon Still on ascend with amazing background view of sun Now cruising at FL360 Sorry Cannot resist brilliant colors of sun view Looking out of cockpit window where you can get COMBO view of sun and famous 20,000 ft high Mount McKinley mountains Passing the Mt McKinley mountains Descending from FL360 to 10,000 ft Passing through clouds at 7,000 ft during descent from 10,000 ft to 3,000 ft Passing Ptarmigan street of city of Bethel on final approach to runway 18 Don't you hate ultra strong Alaskan winds preventing any plane from making touchdown?? Sigh sigh Gonna reduce throttle power Also the FSX default birds flying in background was worrying me. Do not want bird strike in my plane full of explosive fuel!! Few seconds before touchdown blowing snow dust TOUCHDOWN Don't you love snow blowing behind the plane? Front landing gear making very slow and smooth glide down to runway while blowing snow dust Did I say front wheels STILL making very very very slow and smooth gliding down? Front landing gear finally made runway contact Arriving at cargo apron waiting for fuel trucks to come and pick up fuel to be transferred to the airport's fuel reserves Thank you for viewing. Stay tuned for next flight. Regards, Aharon

Official Wein Air Route Popular For Vacations
Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting historic Wein Air DC-3 flight from CHP Circle Hot Springs Airport located in Circle Hot Springs in the Yukon-Koyukuk area of Alaska to PAFA Fairbanks International Airport located three miles southwest of the central business district of Fairbanks Circle Hot Springs was very famous for its hot spring resort with a 4-story lodge that gained statewide and international attention where rich people in Alaska usually went to that hotel for vacation That is why Wein Air had regular service to CHP Circle Hot Springs airport as seen on this official airline timetable below that you can find my recreating of the historic flight Ready to load up returning vacationers and their luggages Closing the passenger door Check out the reflection of clouds on the shiny wing Starting engines!! Spooling up engines because of sub zero temperature Starting to taxi to runway 27 Still taxiing Increasing throttle power to start take off run which results into snow blowing behind the engines Airbone on climb to 10,000 ft while retracting landing gear Still climbing still at runway or 270 degree heading because of too high mountains on left side You can see how high the mountains are which means I cannot make left turn to head to west to start BNGAL HOVMO FA flight route From this cockpit view, you can see that the runway heading is clear but the mountains on left side are still too high Looks like the plane is at safe distance above mountains which signals time to make left turn toward destination Making left turn to west Still on left turn Now on correct direction cruising at 10,000 ft Wing view of cruising 10,000 ft above snowy landscape Gorgeous wing view of sun Because of regulations not allowing more than 20 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to this hyperlink below to view rest of the exciting flight. Nice Inter-Alaska cargo HHauuling
Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting a darn nice cargo hauling trip recreating historic real world Northern Air Cargo 737-200C flight from PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage to PAOM Nome Airport located two nautical miles west of the central business district of Nome Cargo being loaded into the plane. Yep somebody in Nome got rich either from fishing catches or oil strike findings enough to buy Porchse!! Cargo door closing after finishing the cargo loading Doing pre-flight checklist including testing rudder and all flaps which you can see the tail rudder being tested Making sure the cargo door is properly shut Leaving cargo apron to taxi to taxiway K Entering into taxiway K to make long taxiing to runway 07L Still continuing on long taxi while some driver of oil refuel tanker is trying to beat the plane in race Making last minute runway change to enter into runway 07R for take off after being informed by the PANC airport tower that runway 07R is closed temporarily due to some debris left on the runway by previous planes Airborne now after take off on climb to FL300 making left turn toward west with ground view of Fish Creek river and Fish Creek Estuary below the plane nose Leaving background view of PANC area to start the route ANC J111 MCG J111 OME while continuing its climb to FL300 Still climbing Still climbing with background view of Mount Susitna. Not sure if the lake in front of the mountain is ice or polluted as it cannot be both due to August month and Alaska does not have polluted lakes Close up SAME view of strange lake color Approaching Kuskokwim River renowned for gold deposits clearly indicates that the plane is getting close to intercept MCG Intercepting MCG and passing McGrath airport and heading to UNK Intercepting UNK and passing Unalakleet Airport renowned as home base for famous Jim Tweto and his family Approaching Unalaska Bay indicates time to descent from FL300 to 3,000 ft on way to runway 26 Passing through clouds at 7,000 ft Passing through more clouds which can be fun as long as you have radar to detect other planes More clouds to enter Because of regulations of the forums not allowing more than 20 screenshots per post, please be kind enough to go to this hyperlink to view the rest of the exciting flight: https://calclassic.proboards.com/thread/11361/nice-inter-alaska-cargo-hauling?page=1&scrollTo=92621 Thank you for viewing.
