June 8, 201312 yr I have the Dash7 for FSX by Milton Shupe (dash7pkgx.zip). When he flaps are fully down the flap gauge goes to 32°. There are two flap sections in the aircraft.cfg. Flaps.0 says it is for leading edge flaps and has 0°, 15°, 25°, and 32°. Flaps.1 says it is for trailing edge flaps and has only 0° and 32°. The extending times are not equal for the leading edge and trailing edge flaps. I don't understand because I believe there are no leading edge flaps. Looking at the code for the flap indicator gauge says it is reading the leading edge flap position. Can anyone explain the flap indicator gauge to me? Are there leading edge flaps? Thanks, Bob.
June 8, 201312 yr Author As a P.S. to my post above: There is another DHC7 (dash7v2a) that has leading edge flap positions of 0°, 15°, 25°, and 45° and trailing edge flap positions of 0° and 45°. I have seen articles that said there are DHC7's with 45° for short field operations.
