linda does not interact with FSX

Featured Replies

Hello,

Before Linda worked very well with all the planes, but the last few days, I have no error message in the console but the buttons in my MCP Combo no longer interact.

However, it works if I run the utility VRinsight.
I installed the most recent version of FSUPC, I thought the problem came from and I went back to the version 4.85.

VRinsight is on port 3 in FSUIPC.ini.

I checked the documentation and your forum but I have not found a solution.

Do you have any idea about this problem.

Thank you to advance.

If you can see the buttons being pressed in the LINDA UI when you press a button on the MCP, then it must be between LINDA and FSX.

I have no solution, but here are a few questions that may help you locate the problem:

Can Linda see what plane you have loaded? It should switch to that plane if it is supported by Linda and FSX sync is active.

Does FSX still see your joystick and its buttons?

Does FSX see that you press a button (such as . for brakes)?

Try to program Linda to send a "." when you press a certain key. Does FSX see it then?

Enable logging in FSUIPC, do you see anything happen when you press different keys?

Sorry I cannot be of more help. It works fine for me.

I made a new full installation and I just reconfigured it works now ....

But in conclusion, I do not know what it is spent.

Thank you for your help.

Would you use by chance Profile Project Magenta for Prosim, me in my case but I have some problems configuring the efis.

No, sorry, I don't use that. Maybe try Pete Dowsons FSUIPC forum, I think several there are using Project Magenta.
