Hi, I have now three times tried to do an high altitude IFR flight using the inbuilt ATC with a flight plan made on the world map. In all three instances MSFS crashed to desktop when I got near the destination airport. Doing the same flights without ATC did not crash. Is this a known issue? Helge

Hi, I have been happily flying the C172 for the last couple of weeks, but starting yesterday, I started having problems with power. I follow normal start procedure and end up with motor running and active G1000. Then, however, sometimes the power suddenly goes away, and the G1000 goes dark. Flaps will no longer move etc. Last time it happened while taxiing, the time before it happened while climbing. This last time I toggled the battery and power returned, then it disappeared again a few minutes later, and this time I could no longer bring it back. As far as I can see I have not enabled any failures- Am I doing anything wrong here?

The problem is gone now. After Googling a bit I saw a suggestion that it was caused by the rudder pedals. Disconnecting them in fact fixed the problem!

I wonder why only I have the problem, as I said I iknow its not the mouse or driver as it works fine outside the cockpit. The best way I can descrive the problem is that if I for instance move the mouse for a with a constant speed,, then sometimes the mouse cursor moves and sometimes it just stops for a while before moving again. Its kinda like in the old days where the mice had balls (Remember them? :), when they got dirty the mouse cursor also sometimes stopped even though you were dragging the mouse.. Nice idea about the track ball, I might try it later.

I took your suggestions (Thanks!) and started to use my mouse, it works fine except that the cursor doesn't always move when I move the mouse. This is extremely irritating. I know the mouse doesn't have any problems, because when I move the camera with the mouse in the outside view its very smooth. Its only a problem in the cockpit. Is there a setting or something that I can tune to make this better?

One reason is that if I open e.g. FSKneeboard, it shows up outside the window, and then I cannot grab and move it with the mouse. Or is there a trick I am missing? Are people in general using the mouse in VR?

Hi, I have mixed luck setting up the quest 3 VR controllers for MSFS. I want to be able to manipulate buttons and switches in the cockpit using the right controller There are some youtube videos that are at least a year old describing this, but non works; I guess the settings in MSFS has changed in the meantime. So, could someone list how they have set up their VR controllers please? Any suggestions for how to set up controllers for VR in general would also be appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Personally I chose Intel for the pc I’m building right now solely because on single core performance. AMD leads in multi-core,and in the end I think both CPUs are fine with a slight advantage for games to Intel. That may easily change with the next generation though. Also, it’s unclear how much pcie4 will be an advantage, especially with the upcomin AMD Big Navi GPUs. Don’t feel bad about your choice:)

I will have to mount the AIO on top of the case as the tubes is too short for correct front mounting. Should I push air out of the case, or into the case here (currently it’s front mounted pulling in and I have fans at the top pushing out). Also, should the fans pull through the cooler or push?

Hi, I bought the GTN 750 and 650 from F1 yesterday and installed them using the downloaded setup programs. However, when I try to activate them using the plugin, I get the message: "INVALID LICENSE: CONTACT VENDOR". How do I fix this?

I know this is an old post, but how does X.-Camera help with this problem? I cannot find a setting in it to disable mouse wheel zoom.

Hi, I fly helicopters and normal planes, and the use of joystick buttons differ a lot between these. Is there a way to have more than one joystick setup so I don't have to remap a lot of keys every time I switch planes? This is in X-Plane 11.

Thanks for the replies, I think I will try out the Bell 407 first. Are there some addons that can give you heli missions or some addon scenery that is especially fitting for heli flight?

What is the most realistic heli for X-plane 11? I would love to find one that is about as good as the Huey for DCS.

Hi, I am a FSX simmer that have just come back from a 2 year break and just bought X-Plane 11 to try that out. My main interest is airline sims, and I have been flying a lot of PMDG Boeings and Aerofly Airbusses. Which planes in X-Plane 11 are the most realistic at the moment? Helge

That explains it I have been been away from FSX for several years and just got the itch again, so was trying to download and install my products, but couldn't get it to work until I noticed that it now is called OpusFSI, is an entirely new product and that I have to pay for it. Too bad the upgrade path does not exist anymore or I would have paid for an upgrade, I doubt I will pay full price again. Helge

Thanks for the answers, I will go upgrade to Reboot asap. The description of Airbus X voice control states: "These products are intended for use with the NEW Aerosoft Airbus Series. " The new Aerosoft Airbus Series is Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321. Does Airbus X work with these?

Hi, I haven't been simming for at least 2 years, but got the itch again. Since last, there's a new version of FSX: FSX-SE that apparently is more stable, so I bought that. I own a bazillion fs2crew products, here are the newer ones: Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Voice Control Airsoft Airbus X Voice Control RAAS professional PMDG 737 NGX Special Bundle Pack Emergency NGX! Are these compatible with FSX-SE if I download the latest version from FS2Crew.com? I see there's a 737 NGX reboot package. Is there a discount for people like me that own the NGX special bundle and emergency pack? Fun to be back, but it will take me quite a while to get everything installed again Helge

You cannot do it until you get your first vector I think. It should show up on the menu if you press 0, but only when it is available.

Very strange that changes to video affects voice... I have no idea what the problem could be, so here are just a few questions to contemplate: In the first post you said that the problem occured just by using VoxPOP. Does VoxATC and its configuration tools still crash if you haven't installed VoxPOP? (i.e. only use microsoft voices) Is there something interesting in the error log? Strange that the developer hasn't responded. I have contacted him 4 or 5 times since I bought VoxATC a couple of years ago, and always got an answer. Helge
