August 12, 201312 yr It keeps doing it whenever i do! I sent them email with error log and they said that maybe it was a flight planner matter! Of course it wasn't this. August 12, 201312 yr Author UPDATE: Something has to do with how the flights saved. The only flight that VOXATC initialize and work is the "VoxATC IFR Kansas to Eppley". I try to rename my FSX saved flights to match the above name (e.g. VoxATC IFR Athens to Bari) but again i have fatal error. I think we are close to solve the problem. Any ideas? Stratos Moschos
August 13, 201312 yr Which plane are you using? Is a flight plan loaded into your FSX GPS? Did you save the flight before enabling VoxATC? Is your TTS set to English US? Have you tried running the voice training with a flight plan, did that work okay? Any info you can give will help the diagnosis. Dave.
August 13, 201312 yr Author PROBLEM SOLVED! I have a non-English Windows version and the flight plans saved to My Documents like this: Filename=C:\Documents and Settings\*<your name>*\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files\IFR Southend to Southampton Intl My name is in Greek so I changed it to English and everything is OK! Stratos Moschos
August 13, 201312 yr Edit: Problem was fixed while I posted this, but I will let it be here anyway. It may help others Glad you got it fixed Hi, Did you try with another plane such as the default Cessna 172? also, post the log here. We might get an idea from seing it. Here is how I initiate a flight using VoxATC, maybe try this?: - Start FSX is started and the plane loaded and placed at the gate and airport I want (I only use VoxATC for IFR). - Open the Flight Planner in the Flights menu and load a plan (I use EFB to create the plan). Answer no to the question about moving the plane. It should already be at the gate. - Choose "Save As..." in the flights menu and save the flight. You wont need the saved flight for anything, I just save it as "a". The important thing is that you save the flight. - Enable VoxATC and after a test of the voices it asks me to tune to ATIS. I have a problem with the majestic Dash Q400 for some reason VOXAtc wont start when I just load it. Thw workaround I found is to load the cessna 172 and start voxatc as described above. Then switch plane to the majestic. I dont know why I have to do this, but it works for me. I had to install the VoxATC panel myself for the Majestic and I probably made an error somewhere.
