June 16, 201312 yr I wanted to ask some questions about P3D before moving to it so it would be great if users of it can answer. 1. Is there a significant FPS gain compared to FSX with the configuration done same as it? 2. Can I install PMDG 737 with P3D with moving fsx.exe into the folder? 3. I know that REX and probably FTX Global will work with it. What about UT2 and UTX products? 4. Do I need to reinstall all the scenery products or can I just move them inside to it? 5. Do I need to reinstall all the ORBX products or can I just move them inside to it? 6. Is there any compatibility problems with DX10 airports or is it still a DX9? I also know that there is a 2.0 version on work and it will support multicore cpu and 64bit but I was thinking a temporary solution until its out. Thanks Büke Yolaçan

Thanks 1) No. You'll get a smoother movement, but with the same FPS. 2) Technically yes, legally no. 3) Almost all Flight1 addons can't be used in P3D, by legal reasons. 4) Yes 5) Yes. You'll need to update to newer versions of the installers, with the compatible modules for P3D. 6) P3D doesn't support DX10. Version 2.0 will support Dx11, but not 64 bit. If you really want to improve your FSX experience, try the Steve Parson patch for DX10. It works very well with NVIDIA cards, fixing almost all DX10 bugs. You'll get much more FPS, without stutters. Some addons won't work, but it is a worth try. Later, P3D V2 probably will be the best option.
