Hi, I installed freeware OTHH (Hamad International Airport) but it doesn't show up in FS Commander 9. I know that the airport just opened months ago but how can I update the database of it? I need to program flight plan from it. Thanks.

I found the solution by enabling OC from Windows Firewall and allow it manually.

Hi, I have a weird problem after installing SP1 and 300ER. I did a clean install to solve my problem but I guess it's related to network problem. My internet works fine and I tried wifi, ethernet and tethering but still I can't download any livery from OC and activate 300ER. I get these messages: 1.There was an unknown error downloading the list of liveries. 2. Error unable to connect to activation server. Please check you internet connection and try again.

Why everyone is crying about it, we have already lots of new FSX addons like DX10 fixer and fiber accelerator, Prepar3D v2 etc. If it turns out like their train simulator, then don't use. I don't have much hope from it anyway, it will take years that developers convert their addon even if it become successful.

Do we need to set 20-40 for optimal or can we try our settings like 15-30?

So it will be FSX or Flight engine?

I tried the demo with my custom cfg but didn't see much difference. According to vr-pilot I should see lots of difference. Also when I change frame limit it always sets back to unlimited. Maybe I should try with clean bojote config?

I wanted to ask avsim pilots about their charter destination in summer. I normally fly according to released airport but I wanted to ask if you are using any freeware/payware? You can add new destination if its not in list.

Thanks, but i have no idea how to descent manually in VNAV? I mean how can I know which altitude should i get in which distance etc. Tried, no luck

I am using AFCAD included in freeware I saw the localizer capture but didn't see any glideslope diamond but I was at 2200ft which is the last ATC told me to descend.

I was trying to do a flight from LTBA to LTFG. While planning the fligh I always use FSCommander for PMDG 737. LTFG has ILS landing in runway 08 but after going through the final VOR, there is no STAR that I can choose. I tried to manually set heading according to ATC then LOC worked and plane aligned with the runway but APP doesn't work and it keeps the plane in a hold altitude and doesn't descent. Either there is a problem with the ILS of the airport as its freeware or I am doing something wrong. I would like to know if its related with me. Thanks.

Hi, I have a question about joystick assigned button layout in FSX. As I am living in a different country now, my main FSX computer is laptop and I don't carry my joystick with me. I am using Logitech Attack 3 but now I have to buy a new joystick which is Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. My question is I have assigned key to my other joystick so when I get the new joystick, can I still use the same button or do I need to assign again? If I have to assign, will I lost previously assigned button? Thanks

I have also another question while we are talking about 737. When I am taking off, sometimes even there is no wind and I aligned with the runway, it can go a bit to right side, maybe its a joystick problem?

Hi, I have some weird problem while using PMDG 737. While in a flight, some buzz sound starts to repeat out of nowhere and I can't find what causes that. There is no message on FMC or any alert on display. It just keeps repeating whole flight and starts after take off while the plane reached the flying altitude. Can someone help me find it? Thanks.

I have that program but I just used it for arranging the scenery, not for grouping. I have SSD so loading times are fast but if they don't affect FPS they can stay.

I wanted to ask if does it matter to use FSX with all sceneries selected or just the airports I'm going to use? I use DX10 so I don't have any OOM but will this affect FPS? Thanks

Why no one is interested about REX4 Weather Direct? They say they are building from scratch completely different engine.

REX 3 most of the time refreshed the weather slowly that clouds just changed in front of me and AS2012 had the similar problem. I didn't like the way OPUS worked because it was complex so I didn't use again. ASN looks good in reviews and i will give it a try. Looks like there is no hype for REX4 WD. I added later but I did a typing mistake and can't fix it now.

I wanted to ask which weather engine do you use in FSX? I tried Opus and Active Sky 2012 before and only solution working for me was REX 3 but now it has problems also so I was thinking about if I should wait for REX 4 Weather Direct or choose the other 2 options I posted in poll. Can you tell me which one do you use and why you prefer?

First of all I know most of the advantages of P3D v2 vs FSX but mine is a different condition because I dont use a high rig like most of the people uses. I am using a different setup than most of the people which can be seen in my profile. The fact is I have 650m GPU and I know P3D is much more depended on GPU than CPU so will it make any performance improvement for me or it will stay the same because I don't have a powerful GPU. Can someone give a technical look and help me before I waste my time If it doesn't worth it. I am using DX10 in FSX so try to compare the performance considering it. Thanks.
