No I don't have FS9 installed. I will try updating it to 5.4b with a fresh install again.

I heard AES has some performance problems. Is it true? I was thinking about using it.

I will talk to them about traffic but is there a traffic generator I am missing? I connected it to FSX that's all. What about static airplanes also? Are they controlled by MTX too?

I checked again and besides traffic, I have like 1-2 static planes in airports like FSDT KLAX, KJFK as last I checked. Also where can I set the traffic amount of MTX? I checked my fsx.cfg but sim object is already pointed. It's weird having a few static planes also.

I reinstalled FSX after MyTraffic X setup so I will try to reinstall it also. It says that I should add it from scenery menu, should I put it to top priority?

For example I have no static aircraft in Blueprint KLAX. Also there are only small planes going in and out to airports. I want a real airplane traffic going on.

I have MyTraffic X 5.4 and some payware airports but most of them is empty without static aircraft. Also there are few planes landing or taking off in these airports. My traffic is set to ultra high. Should I set it to %100 to see a realistic traffic? Also does this makes a load on i7 cpu? Thanks

I don't think that my computer parts will be bottleneck If you check my specs. Thanks anyways I will give it a try. But I know that OrbX have some other files inside scenery folder in FSX and I can't move them without moving FSX.

Hi, I have a SSD on my laptop and it has 240GB capacity so I installed FSX on a usb 3.0 external. My question is will it be faster to load if I move VFR sceneries I mostly use to SSD drive. Thanks

Setting region to english / united states from control panel and reinstalling fsx seems to fix the problem.

So this is what I get after I installed FTX Australia SP4. All the terrain looks messed up. I activated Australia region before starting FSX in FTX Central. I don't know what's the problem. Everytime I install a FTX product my scenery gets messed up. I have GEX Europe & GEX USA installed and I know there are some compatibility problems when you fly outside the FTX region but this is how Australia looks. Can anyone help?

VFR scenery still looks blurry to me. I don't what is the reason because I changed the settings just as said but they load late and they don't that good anyways. Any reason why?

I tried that but it corrupted my FSX so I had to install it again. I read that there are problems like that for GEX and ORBX users so they are making a SP1 for it but I don't think that I will use it again after all that time I spent.

After uninstalling and reinstalling FSX I fixed the problem for now. I think its OrbX England which corrupts. I took a screenshot over VFR Germany with REX clouds. They still look kinda not that good to me. Do I expect to much from FSX or is it just normal? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. It was working fine until I noticed textures are looking bad in England after I installed OrbX. Then I removed it but then the whole game textures started to look like that. I restored my GEX textures to normal FSX but no change. Now I uninstalled FSX and I will reinstall it again. I deleted all the fsx files in Windows. The problem is not related to USB because the problems started after some addon. Do I need to install addon sceneries again because VFR sceneries takes lots of time. Can I just add them from the settings of the game?

I have a big texture problem that I can't seem to fix. The settings are on ultra high. I tried DirectX 10 on and off. I used ORBX England which looked very bad then I uninstalled it and I tried GEX Europe and no luck. I have also VFR Germany and Switzerland Pro X sceneries which looks better but they are not looking good compared to screenshots. I made the settings according to the manuals of the addons. The game and all the addons are installed into a usb 3.0 external HDD. Computer specs are i7 3.3 Ghz, 8gb DDR3 ram and 512MB GeForce 650m graphics. Can you give an advice about how to fix the problem? You can see what I mean in the screens. FSX with Acceleration.
