June 23, 201312 yr Yeah well, I never fully dug into the guts of FSUIPC. I only need it to get some addons workin' Now, this is how the world looks like when the sight draw distance slider is set to max And this is how it should look like when the same slider is set to min In both instances, the visibility slider was set to max.
June 24, 201312 yr Yup. That's normal for the sight draw slider-- it controls the radius of an opaque sky-coloured cylinder around the player's plane. Where the horizon appears to have dropped in the second screenie, it's actually been brought closer to your plane. If you set sight draw distance to max and played with the visibility slider you'd see the murkiness of the haze changing instead. The visibility tab in FSUIPC overrides the murk settings with fixed values for different weather conditions. It's worth playing with that one but if you're anything like me ( ) you'll have forgotten about it within six months and then won't be able to work out why FS' own slider no longer works... Best regards, D
June 27, 201312 yr Hi, thanks for reply! Although that works fine now, there's another...strange thing happening (I wonder why I'm not surprised). From the beginning I have to say that I always fly with the sight draw distance slider set to max, so; The haze appears to be blue now...but I always had...eeer..gray haze before this whole issue occurred. This is how it looks now: And this is how it used to look like in the good ol' times: Is it possible to change the..color of the fog?
