i was interested in knowing if the latest update has cured the slow refresh rate of the gauges now? I read that its very difficult flying an approach manually due to poor gauge refresh rates so this being fixed is an important consideration for me.Im also interedted in hearing how well done the flight dynamics are ...does it fly smooth and by the numbers?..and lastly i was wondering if the FMC has been fixed so that it properly imports flightplans yet?Im already a PMDG owner but i find myself wanting to try the ariane version due to reports of better fps in the VC (grass is greener syndrome i guess), however i wouldnt want to bite on this one if the above mentioned problems havent been addressed yet...so i suppose im looking for info from someone who has installed the very latest upgrade/patch ( i think its v1.3?)Thanks for any help or info!Dave

Hi, Dave:I have both Ariane B737-900 and the PMDG version. Ariane version is "nothing" compared to PMDG and I would not recommend you to buy the Ariane version. First, it is too expensive for a product, and second, I dislike very much flying just from the VC cockpit, as they have not 2D panels. Also, in my setup, FPS get hit substantially, the gauges are not very well readable and I personally dislike very much the looking of the VC panel. Go try or stick with the PMDG -900, way too better !!!.

Ed, thanks but im already aware of those pre-patch opinions...i dont want this to turn into some sort of bashing thread as theres too many of those that exist on this forum already.I dont care much about 2d panels as i never fly with them. IM a VC junkie.Im only interested in POST 1.3 PATCH info/results at this point in time, thanks again.Dave
