June 20, 201312 yr Is there any way to use the NGX's sounds for ai aircraft? I have tried both putting in an alias, making a copy of the sound folder under PMDG 737-800 NGX and renaming it soundai (along with changing the name of the sound.cfg file to soundai.cfg). After, I have copied this new soundai folder over to the ai aircraft in question. However, it doesn't seem to work. The ai sounds completely wrong. What am I doing wrong? Also, I know there will be a performance hit when using the NGX's high-quality sounds, but I am ready to accept the performance hit incurred. Alfredo Terrero
June 21, 201312 yr Author I don't thinkAlright, that's what I feared. Do you think it's because the soundai folder has some sort of size limit in terms of byte size, or is it because of the way the NGX itself calls upon its sound files? Alfredo Terrero

I tested and I have not managed

I guess I'll try downloading other sounds online and see if those works. Thanks for your help. Alfredo Terrero
