Sorry if this has been asked before but searching the forum for "windows 8" turned up 20 bazillion threads that seemed to have nothing to do with running FSX in windows 8.  Basically I'm just curious what the known issues are with FSX and/or addons?  I did see in the Win8 forum something about joystick issues and they can be fixed with FSUIPC.  So I'm more concerned about are there other issues with FSX itself, what about addons like OrbX scenery (guessing no on that), or things like REX or more advanced aircraft like the 737 NGX?  I'm building a new system soon and debating whether to install the $39 special of Win8 Pro Upgrade that I bought at the end of last year.  I was going to dual boot Win7 and Win8 but from what I understand I can't do that with the upgrade version so I'd be forced to use Win8 for everything if I go that route.

Don't download FSX in Program Files ( x86 ), you will have problems. Other than that , I have Windows 8 and am doing just fine.
