Displays on 2nd moniter not updating

I posted this problem before and got no views.  I reworded it and I'll try again. I have the MFD, PFD, upper display and lower display on one window on my secondary LCD.  I am not using the zoomed displays by clicking on the + sign.  I configured the panel cfg so that they are all in one window using Panel Studio.  This way I won't take a big fps hit having too many windows open.  The problem I'm having using this setup is that the displays do not update at all unless I have the primary display on the cockpit 2D.  Anyone have this problem or know a work around for it?
