Cannot engage autopilot

Featured Replies

Hello, i am following tutorial #1 that is included in the 737NGX package.  I followed all the steps up until after take off where I was supposed to engage the autopilot by clicking the CMD A button. I did that and the green led just lit up for less than a second and the autopilot disengaged itself.  I followed all the tutorial line by line so I dont think I am missing any important steps.  i read somewhere that that are certain critieria in order for the auto pilot to work.

Can anyone here point me to the right direction as to what might by the possible reason?

Thanks.

Alan

In case you have "realistic autopilot engagement" enabled you need to be fully trimmed, meaning you can take the hands off the controls and the aircraft continues on the same track.
