FSCOM???

Featured Replies

I really perked up when I saw that ad for FSCOM. A substitute for FS9 ATC! However, After tracking down their website (couldn't get Avsims link to work), it appears to be an "lone wolf, adventure type program", that ignores all other aircraft. Am I correct? Their FAQ link is under construction and I didn't see any reference to AI aircraft in their main description. Anyone familiar with this? Fitz

I found the link, but it doesn't seem clear on interaction with AI traffic. I suspect there isn't any, which would make it interesting taking off and landing at a major airport with lots of AI traffic. Fitz

It's not specific but it implies. . . Copied from the features list-"With the ATC which works frequencies and coordinates dependent you can hear realistic radio traffic from other planes in the air which are on the same frequency. In theory you can hear different controllers at each airport and on each frequency with sound files which even contain the typical accent of the region you are in."It doesn't seem likely that they'd go to so much work and then leave out the AI.. . . hope not anyway.Terry

Hi Fitz,I just ordered it...so as soon as I get it about 7 days :(I will let you know....I got the SR version.Eddie

Eddie, would you please post a review regarding the SR engine? That's the most interesting part to me...Regtarding the Flight Planner FSBuild is the best.

Oh, forgot to mention, search for messages posted by Gigabyte, this guy bought it.Pilot_76

I'll be looking forward to your review. Perhaps when they get their FAQ page up and running, it will be a little clearer as to what exactly it's capable of doing. Fitz
