July 8, 201312 yr I've been thinking of upgrading my current card for a long time now. My current GTX 560 (Non-TI) is great, but I really wish I could run some games on max settings (which, with it, I can't). In addition, I can't fly in FSX with any kind of bad weather and maintain a good frame rate. I was looking at this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130932 Which is the SAME as this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130934 The only difference, EVGA says, is that the first one features ACX cooling, whatever that is. It's probably because it has 2 fans, while the other one only has 1. I don't plan on overclocking the card (Since it's already the Superclocked model), but cooler temperatures are always nice. Which model should I get if I was buying the 760? The ACX one has been out of stock on Newegg for more than a week, but reps tell me they've ordered more and they're on the way. Also, I decided to look at some GTX 770s just for fun. I found this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130921 It's a lot more expensive than the 760s I was looking at. Is there any performance difference that is worth the extra $$$? Thanks i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
July 9, 201312 yr Author Okay actually, scratch that. I can't get the 770 since I figured out my CC has a online spending limit. So which version of the 760 should I get? i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
July 9, 201312 yr EVGA like it 760gtx not bad for $250, and benchmarks show its 23% more powerful 660 and 12% more powerful than 660ti. If your budget limited get 760 gtx good choice.
