Should I stay with DirectX9?

I am trying to figure out if I should stay with Direct X9 or click the directx 10 preview tab.  I have read that the water is much more amazing with 10 but I read in the sofwarge guide that there are texture issues.  What should I use?  I want as real as possible as I can get?
