New Voice Buddy Review: For Use In MSFS2004

Featured Replies

Hey Gents,Just wanted to let you know that we reviewed Voice Buddy by eDimensional. We used the MSFS2004 profile to test the software. We think pretty highly of it. If you want to read the review, take a look at it here: http://www.virtualflightproductions.com/in...id=26&Itemid=33 Anyone on this board that has used it, please leave some feedback in this thread for others so they can get the widest range of opinions on the software.Enjoy.

Yes I love it too especially with their free voice buddy 2 update (for those who already got it of course). My only complaint is the voice overs. I wished they would have gone with AT&T:s voices that really sounds like real human voices but I guess the licensing fee was to much. I mailed and asked them and they said they where aware of it and investigating if they could make use of it.

Yes, I agree. The Microsoft stock voices are not the best in the world.I beleive you can erase the response text in the command editor so that it will not respond for every command.

Hi.Did you ever review the freeware "SpeechBuddy2"? If yes, what is your oppinion, if No do you intend to? TV

Hello,No, I have not reviewed the Speech Buddy program. I did look at the freeware program called "Shoot" though. I would suspect, although not sure, that my opinion would range in the same area as it did with that. "You get what you pay for." With the amount of support VB gets... that and the VBIT + ACCR technology comprised within it... I do not think there is a freeware program that could come close to matching VB2.0. But I could be wrong. :)
