Anyone know where i can find these ground textures for fs2004

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, Im currently working on an airport i dont see many sceneries for it anywhere so ive decided to make my own, acording to google maps the hangers at this specific airport i already have but id like to change the ground textures ive seen them used on other sceneries so im sure its available just hoping someone can help me find them thanks in advance.

Two choices; find something that replaces the default texture with something that matches what you want and which would then show that way for all airports that call concrete or cement or... make the texture yourself and use one of the design tools to place it at the airport.

There are plenty of sites that offer free texture(s) for download and there is more than one design tool that would allow you to make a textured poly to place at the airport.

That looks like ground poly textures to me since they aren't uniform across the entire ramp (they don't appear to tile). That would be unique to the airport scenery you have installed there and not something you can change globally.

Do a search in the flightsim.com file library for "airland 1.0" though, it's a pretty good match to what you're showing in the screenshot and it is a global replacement. It's an FS9 texture replacement, they may need a conversion for FSX use.
