Saitek Yoke dead spot

Featured Replies

I have been using a Saitek yoke for all my flight sims. It seems that in MSFlight that there is quite a dead spot near the center of the pitch. I find that I must move the yoke quite a bit farther to get a reaction in pitch than with the other flight sims. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do about it? Is this effect less common with joysticks? Which ones?

Perhaps an edit to the standard XML? This is my untouched one.

<EventName>FlightControls.ElevatorSetAxis</EventName>
      <AxScale>1.000000</AxScale>
      <AxNull>0.100000</AxNull>

Thanks

Moe

Try this

<EventName>FlightControls.ElevatorSetAxis</EventName>
      <AxScale>1.200000</AxScale>
      <AxNull>0.00000</AxNull>

Axscla eis sensitivity. Higher value means mor sensitivity

AxNull is deadzone, smaller number reduces deadzone.
