October 27, 200421 yr Chum of mine flying in FS9 has a niggling problem that I can`t cure and so I am writing for help.Whenever he first opens a flight it is always in "Slew Mode" and of course the aircraft is zipping about all over the place. How does he get out of this setup?? I`ve looked thru settings to see if a box has been checked that shouldn`t be but no luck. Also how does he get rid of the line of info that appears in Red at the top of the screen? Hight, Heading MSL etc etc etcMany thanksGeorge Aldridge
October 27, 200421 yr GeorgeFirst of all, that red line of text at the top of the screen is part of the slew mode which gives the co-ordinates etc of your position. This will dissappear when not in slew mode.I think he must have saved his flight 'in slew mode',something that I used to do, try loading one of the default MS flights and see if that is also in slew mode. I think he may have to re-setup his flight again and exit the slew mode before he saves it.CheersPhil Asus Maximus Hero XI , i7-8086, 16 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 1080 ti
October 27, 200421 yr Yup I agree. Try saving your flight again overwriting the first one. Hope that helps. Don
