Saitek Proflight Throttle Trouble

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I had the Saitek X52 and when I applied just a little throttle my aircraft began moving, as the real aircraft do. I just pruchased the Saitek Proflight Yoke System with two throttles and it takes about 50% of throttle before my aircraft move. I have tried it with my PMDG 737NGX and Qualitywings 757. Not sure what the problem is. I do have a registered copy of FSUIPC.

How have you calibrated your throttles?  I calibrated mine through FSUIPC and deleted them in the FSX Controls.  It's not how far you move the throttles, but what your thrust is.  Usually you can get moving with about 25% thrust.  Remember that it takes a moment to spool up.  If you want to move instantly then you'd have to have about 40-50% thrust.  If you're using FSUIPC, then I suggest you recalibrate your throttles and see how this goes.
