FlightMap Version 1.9 Released

Featured Replies

The latest update to FlightMap adds full FSX and Prepar3D flight plan support to the application. FlightConnect has been updated to automatically detect when a flight plan has been loaded in the simulator and now provides that to FlightMap for navigation when in GPS mode. This was a highly requested feature and I am so happy to be releasing this update with it.

Other features include:
Support for 10 inch Android tablets with 4x3 aspect ratios like the HP TouchPad
Course To Steer (CTS) added to GPS mode display
Estimated time to waypoint (ETE) added to Adhoc flight plan mode (NAV mode)
Improved the launch page for ease of use as well as other fixes for launching the app

FlightMap is a useful navigation utility and moving map for Flight Simulator X. FlightMap provides second screen functionality plotting your simulated location on top of Google Maps as you fly in real time. It also displays important navigational information like airspeed, altitude, and direction while you fly.

FlightMap FlightMap  is currently available for 10 inch Android 4.0 or above tablets  on the Google Play Store. There is also a fully functional Trial Versionavailable on the play store as well. The trial version will work for 5 minutes and then stop receiving updates from the server.
