Does the Flex temperature feature in the FMS work in the CRJ700-900 for fs9 ?

 

Seems to make no difference.

 

If it does, please advise on how to use it.

Is there a reason you posted the same topic twice? 

After entering a flex temp, the thrust setting is not derated - it should show a lower thrust setting in FLEX than in TO after

entering 50°.

However, I see no change.

Go into the operating manual, and you will find out.

Yes - I HAVE entered a flex temp but it does NOT reduce the thrust.

 

Can someone please elaborate more clearly on this problem.

Well if it doesn't work then that probably means it's there just for looks, that's a problem with this aircraft in FS9.
