Blurred Textures

Featured Replies

I know there have been a zillion posts on this subject but this one is a little different from any I have read. My issue is that there is a line across my video screen about half way between the top of the glare shield and the top of the screen. Below the line, textures are sharp and detailed and above the line they are blurry.I have an FX 5600 on a P4 1.7. The issue doesn't seem to be driver-related.Also, whether related or not, the views out the side windows don't exhibit that problem. They are entirely sharp and clear.Any ideas??Thanks

I experience something very similar but oddly enough not all the time. I can't figure out what causes this problem to either be there or not, in the same scenery and by and large the same settings. It is particularly noticeable when following a road: I can see the sharp texture unrolling in front of the cockpit like a carpet, another medium-blurry carpet unrolling beyond that and a really blurry one in the far distance! Of course, the rest of the scenery behaves in the same way but the road is a very clear indication of the anomaly.

ditto, and never in the side views...only forward.

have you got the Extended textures button switched on in your settings??? it sounds like this to me best wishes steve
