August 2, 201312 yr Author Just downloaded and tried the thunder sounds mentioned in my post above available in the AVSIM file library and I think they were great, not only because the volume was a bit higher but I also think the sounds were more realistic than the default sounds. Could be though that I hear what I want to hear... Anyway for anyone else interested I highly recommend these sounds!
