I tried searching for this but could not find. Suddenly-in the last week-my atc window will pop up-but there is no text in it. I can hit the numbers on the keyboard and reply etc. but can't see the text description or what the numbers represent-I get the atc window but nothing in it. hehehehehe... nothing to worry about palthis is because the text message on ur ATC in MSFS has been disabled... go back to msfs 2004 and go into the ATC section and there should be a section where u can check to recieve text messagesThanks,Marc

Hi Geoff,When you are flying the real aircraft, do you get text messages from ATC on the windscreen. I keep looking for them in the C172 and Citabria I fly, but haven't been able to turn them on yet!! :-lolI also can't find the coffee cup holder (CD-drive tray) or the mouse to select different functions.Learning all the ins and outs of the GPS is enough, I guess.I think anyone using MSFS 2004 will get a leg up on using the GPS in real flight, especially if they have Reality XP GPS adjunct installed.W. I actually usually leave the text messages off.The problem is-I need to see the responses so I can answer!eg. 1)request different approach 2) request ndb 9 approach etc.For some reason-the text vanished for about a week (not because of turning atc messaging on or off)-the window would pop up with a blank screen when a choice was needed-but as I could not see them-I could not tell atc what to do.I assume something went wrong with the fonts fs uses-and somehow they were magically there a week later-so one of those things.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg
