Sound problem with "Clean/Display" Aircraft Variants on Aerosoft F16

Hi - I posted this question on the Aerosoft F-16 forum, but have not gotten any reply, so I thought I'd post it here, as I have not been able to find a solution to this sound problem with their F-16:

Hi -

A while back this topic was posted regarding the Aerosoft_Sound_System's sounds not playing in any of the "clean or display" aircraft.  I have this same problem.  I have the 1.21 version installed, and all asc.cfg files for all variants are pointing to the correct model's folder.  The sounds play with all other variants, but not the clean/display variants.  I do not have the mission pack, so the suggestion made by Shaun in the aforementioned and closed topic does nothing to solve this problem.  Do others here still have this same problem?  Is there a fix for it?
