Greetings. When I hit the lnav button it lights for a second and then goes out...after that it wont light at all...what am i doing wrong?

Your LNAV is not working?

What exactly happens? Do you get an FMC message saying "Not on intercept heading"?
What phase of flight are you trying to engage your LNAV?
