August 4, 201312 yr Well, this was the first time I used FSUIPC with P3D, and it certainly was more than worth the use! The Dynamic Friction LUA file (there is another one, but the dynamic version does it the best way, IMO...) makes your ground handling experience much better in FSX / P3D. I can only suggest that you use it. Editing the LUA script allows you to experiment with different sliding and rolling friction scalars, but I found the default ones used in the script perfectly adequate! Don't miss this mod!!! Taking off, taxiing and landing with this modified friction coefs, taking into account rw contamination and type, would be a great thing to have in X-Plane 10 where we are plagued by a rather irrealistic ground behavior under cross winds...
