737 NGX: Time from Wide Beta to Release?

Featured Replies

Hi There

Does anyone remember the Timespan from the Release to the Wide Beta Team until the Public release? I am explicitly talking about the 737 NGX. I need that apprximate Time for my very own planning, so this is NOT another release Date Topic, and I am NOT a Troll...(i think)

Thanks for your answers

Regards

Kevin

I just happened to look this up to day

If my sources were correct (I found some posts on external forums, I always have issues with the AVSIM search function), the wide beta team first recieved the NGX on the 11th of July and it was released to the public on the 4rd of August. That is a turn-around of about 24 days.

....but I have all my confidence in RSR and the team in releasing it when its fully ready, and I won't be counting the days from when they gave it to the T7 Wide Beta team.

Thanks James!

That gives me a great idea of what to expect. It helps me a lot in my FS wise planing. Now I know, that I have enough time to still enjoy my other plane but not too much time to buy anything else until the release. Because I have drastically shrinked my FS budget due to "interest conflicts"

Thanks James!

Guys, do not try to predict things like this on the basis of past products. This is a significantly more complicated aircraft than the NGX and you can't put a number on it using that method. It'll be released when we and the test teams feel it's ready, not a day sooner.

Ryan.... Would you kindly request the recipe for the famous "coffee cake" from RSR :) I would like to be on the beta tasting team....! Or maybe he could include it in the FOM...

Hi Ryan

For my personal use, I now know that it is not going to be released today or tommorow. But also it is not going to take many more months. This is accurate enough for me, and if I am wrong with my prediction its not your fault but mine.

But thanks for the hint with the complexity difference!
