The VirtUAL Flight Expo 2013 conference infrastructure is designed and in place to provide a venue that’s able to engage pilots on an entirely different level. The idea of a conference has come up many times in the flightsim world, but limitations, physical, monetary, or otherwise, have complicated the community’s ability to attend. By having the conference on a virtual platform, it overcame most of the difficulties the community faces in attending. It means everyone gets a voice in the end. By engaging the community in a unique form, we hope to be able to increase the level of involvement within the community.
