August 10, 201312 yr Hello. I was flying at 31000ft, began descending, and a few minutes later the airspeed gauge just stopped working. The needle just pegged and stayed there until I got down to about 6000ft. This is behavior that I've seen before if the Pitot heat is not turned on, yet mine was turned on for the entire flight. Can the developers confirm that the Pitot heat actually works? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Also, I know it has been reported but it never hurts to remind the developers. The Generator #2 electrical circuit does not function properly - you have to turn on the APU circuit to get it to work. Lastly, the aircraft seems a bit underpowered. The manual states that the JT8D-17 engines are simulated, but the aircraft.cfg thrust is only set to 14500lbs, which is the thrust for a JT8D-9 engine.. These are the only major bugs I've come across so far. I'm really enjoying the aircraft. I ask that the developers please look into the above-listed issues. Thanks a lot. August 10, 201312 yr Commercial Member Yes. The pitot heat is borked. It doesn't actually turn on the pitot heat. It's fixed in the hot fix on our forums. Unreleased as yet to the general public. The engine thrust is, afaik, correct. However, I will ask. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support.
