Hi,

 

Yesterday I used an offset route between a few waypoints on route of about 5nm to the right. When I activated it, I found out that I could not use PLN mode anymore to step through my route points, which I thought was kinda weird.

When the offset stopped and the plane was back on the normal route again, I could use PLN mode again.

 

Just to clarify, on my FMC on the legs pages I still saw the <CTR> tag move through my waypoints when clicking on "step". But my screen did not show these changes, and thus I kept seeing the first waypoint on route.

 

Is this standard NGX behavior or did I hit a bug?

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but it's not just you, as I'm seeing the same thing.

Mm, thanks for checking. I can't imagine that this is a feature though. Sound more like a bug to me.

Maybe someone could comment on it?
