Cockpit Building and 737NGX

Recommended Posts

Hi,

A friend of a friend has gone and bought the front end of a 737 and put it in a workshop! He wants to build a complete flight deck using it, and he asked me to build it.

Is the NGX capable of being used for cockpit building?

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Robin.

Hi,

I use the NGX as the aircraft for my HomeCockpit based on OpenCockpits hardware. I have the following modules in my cockpit, all working with the NGX as the aircraft :

OVH - MCP - EFIS - CDU - COM - NAV- ADF - ATC - MIP and soon most of the Pedestal units

The software to interface NGX with the OpenCockpits modules is OC4BA. It can be downloaded at http://www.flightsim4fun.com

This solution, I belive, is the less costly B737 HomeCockpit you can build.
