August 21, 201312 yr Hi everyone,Today I was flying into Tehran Mehrabad Airport (OIII) on IVAO. I went for the ILS approach for RWY 29L. Frequency 109.90, course 286. ILS was identified according to the ND in my PMDG 737NGX. Armed VOR LOC, then armed APP once the G/S came alive. Was established on the ILS approach, everything was perfectly fine, then I found that I was completely misaligned with runway 29L! So I thought, maybe an offset ILS approach? Maybe something is broken? Then I noticed I was not parallel to the runway, but I was approaching it at heading 284 a little bit from the right. I could not follow the F/D anymore a few hundred feet before touchdown and had to correct. In the end I landed normally.When I landed I asked some guy on IVAO why this ILS was so off? And he replied that it was not. So I thought, perhaps I made this mistake of arming APP to early which will cause an IAN approach, which by the way is not always reliable. So then I tried again, offline this time, now making 100% I did it right, and ended up the same way. The ILS lead me to the runway from the right, under an angle. Before I try all kinds of fixes, does anybody know if this is a major problem with this airport or could anyone please test it for me an report back?Thanks. Arjen Vandervelde
August 22, 201312 yr Looking at it in ADEX I see the Localizer is set 288.5T but the runway heading is 289.7. Judging by the localizer position, I'm guessing FSX is wrong. The approach waypoints look wrong too. Didn't see anything on the charts suggesting any sort of offset ILS. scott s. .
