Confused About Global

Featured Replies

So, here is what I do not understand, if somebody can please clarify before I buy.......

I have used ORBX Australia scenery, and love it. I also purchased FTX England, but uninstalled it due to a number of issues.

So, does FTX Global replace England / Scotland / Wales etc? Do both run together, and if so, what are the pros and cons?

I've been unable to find any info on this on any forum, including the FTX ones. Can somebody advise me please?

Many thanks,

Andrew.

Kind regards,

Andrew.

FTX Global = Global. It covers everywhere, including Australia and the UK.

If you own regions, they will just sit on top of it and cover it up. The same way a payware airport covers up a default airport.

Thank you Bonchie.

So I guess I should just purchase Global, and not bother to reinstall England?

No!

The regions are much more detailed and contain much more features than global.

If you had problems with England then yes.

But England has had a ton of patches come out since the. I'd install it and all the patches and enjoy.
