November 7, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi, MipBias is the mip map slider in fs2004 display, it control the texture mip map quality, more then 5, you will start to loose performance and get flickering etc, I leave it to 4.Ps: Alot of the fs9.cfg entries are in fs2004 slider and option display.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs Kind RegardsChris Willis
November 7, 200421 yr Hi Chris, thanks for the quick answer. But if i go into FS9.cfg i cannot find that entry, same for PanelAsTexture=0/1; if i want those entries i have to add them manually. Are they necessaries?Further, is that the same as MIPMAP DETAIL LEVEL in 3D preferences of my Video Card? What about my last question?cheersLuigi ;-)
November 7, 200421 yr Hi Luigi,"Also, what is best setting for VSync?"With your 9800XT you can set VSync to "On" or "Application Preference"."And finally, AA 4x or AA 2x + Temp.AA?"Run at 4X AA. Temp AA requires that you run the game at a minimum FPS of at least equal to the refresh rate your monitor is running. That's fast for this sim!!! Doubtful that any computer today, set for high quality screen image, can run at that FPS.Hope this helps,Greg
