Hi guys Is it possible to stop the darkening of the vc or change how much it gets dark. It gets so dark at times I can't even see the gauges (an now the peanut gallery says just turn the airplane until it's not dark anymore!there I said it for you) there has to be a setting in the fs9 config somewhere? I don't know. This seems to be a common problem with VC's. However, there's often a "panel light" switch somewhere that will improve the situation. For example, in the RealAir Scout, panel lighting is automatically turned on when you start the plane for this reason. The developers of the Aerosoft Katana also recommend you turn the "Map Light" on if the VC is too dark, even during daylight.

I installed Night Time for FS9 from the library here and that happened to me. Uninstalled it incorrectly and can't get the default lighting back. Hopefully somebody can help I've posted it a few places! But maybe you have the same problem?
