November 8, 200421 yr Did you have a look recently at RealAir's site ? No, you should ...I was looking for additional news regarding their Spitfire's release when I discovered awesome shots of the Virtual cockpit. I hope that this beauty will be released soon.Kind regards...Vincenthttp://vincent.mellinger.free.fr/perso/ima...e/Signature.jpg

November 8, 200421 yr Hi,I must be stupid but where did you see the pictures of the Spitfire virtual cockpit ? I could see only the 3D models on the screenshots pop up window.
November 8, 200421 yr Hi Simicro,In order to refresh your browser, you should erase all files in your temp folder. At the bottom of the screenshots page, there are two links. The second one is dedicated to VC screenshots. There is also a direct link to screenshots on the homepage with a preview of the 3D panel.Hope this helps...Vincent http://vincent.mellinger.free.fr/perso/ima...e/Signature.jpg
November 9, 200421 yr This is their best work yet! To me what really makes the VC stunning are the realistic reflections on the inside of the windscreen- beautiful attention to detail that really adds to the immersion factor of a VC.Best,Joel
November 9, 200421 yr So, do you think the crowbar works? I'm wondering if one of the gauge failures is the canopy gets stuck. :-)Thomas
November 9, 200421 yr Not only does the VC of the Spitfire Mk XIV look stunning, there is absolutely no stuttering or instrument lag either. Believe me the instruments are as smooth as those in a regular 2D cockpit. So much so the Spitfire does not need a 2D cockpit at all. This model will be a delight for VFR and instument flyers alike!Won't be long now! Just a bit more work to do.CheersTimRealAirSim Spitfire Test Pilot!
November 9, 200421 yr It does indeed look stunningly good! Can't wait! There's no gunsight, plus modern instruments and what I believe is an unusual radio installation - I suppose this aircraft represents a modern restoration?Mike F.
November 9, 200421 yr Looks like another good one to match the already perfect collection from Realair....Anthonyhttp://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-customer.jpg
November 10, 200421 yr Likely so, and to be honest I kinda prefer it that way. It better fits the atmosphere of the sim that the plane you are flying is a representation of a warbird restoration rather than an actual Spitfire circa 1944. Man, that VC looks just amazing. I can't wait to try it...
November 10, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Guys,The Spitfire panel at the moment is very similar to a recently restored example with new(ish) com, nav and transponder radios. Zevious hit the nail on the head -- we felt this would better suit the civilian nature of FS2004. But... we've pretty much come to the conclusion that we need to provide a perfect 1944 example as well, so we'll be adding a gunsight as an option.Cheers,
November 10, 200421 yr Looks awesome !! Hard to wait for this one.On a side note : Just Flight just released some new screenshots and the pricetag of their Spitfire. I won
